Coloring Tips and Ideas

1. You can print two or more of the same page, and see how different it can look with all the different ways to color!

2. At parties, color one page for yourself, and one for your hosts.

3. Regular household items can be used to add texture: lacey vinyl tablecloths, the mesh bags from vegetables, a piece of sandpaper, one side from a plastic berry basket - just place the flattened item under the paper and rub the paper with the side of your crayon.

4. Try using darker colors in the background to make the foreground POP!

5. Any area can be filled in with patterns you create: dots, stripes, plaid, zigzags and more.

6. Use up all your old crayons by shading and coloring with the side of the piece of crayon.
